Hi,
there’s a couple of spots worth visiting for the Marsh harriers.. in the Far South West here we have a pair of Marsh harriers who have taken up residence at Marazion Marsh.. The best time to see them is almost Dusk when the starlings start to roos as they work the reeds together trying to bag themselves a good supper of Starling..
The second place I can recommend is the Camel Estuary from Wadebridge.

Thanks for your Kind thoughts Sue, we’ll be fine. I’m just a bit sad they may try to write off the old splashbus, but Leanne is really feeling blue and I have to say I didn’t even think about it at the time..
I’m hoping the Fisherman isn’t suffering the same sort of flashbacks after all he was the one who took the most of the battering being thrown up on the wall and over on his side before coming to an abrupt halt down the side of the splashbus it must have been pretty scary for him..

Superb – should have come & tracked you down yesterday but it was too cold for me. The Bitterns do have a rather funny walk, comes from walking about in reeds all the time, hiding from you ! Keep Warm Sue

lol thanks Kieth, I’m more than happy with the shots I got.. it was nice to see the Barnacle Geese.. its the first time I’ve ever seen them outside Scotland.. well worth the walk if you haven’t got them
